Coach of the Nigeria U-23 team Samson Siasia has angered the Nigeria Football Federation with his outburst over unpaid salaries.

Siasia last week lamented over his unpaid salaries and the unfair treatment of his players.

The coach told the media last week that team has been treated like ‘orphans’.

According to him, the team has not been paid their allowances in the last 9 months and they have not been provided with training kits as well.

Complete Sports reports that the NFF are now planning to sack the coach and replace him with Salisu Yussuf with Fatai Amao and Ogunbote as assistants.

A query has been issued to the coach by the NFF and have been asked to to explain why he should not be sanctioned.

According to the report, NFF have explained to the coach why salaries have not been paid that efforts were been made to remedy the situation.

“Siasia is facing the sack except there is a divine intervention because the NFF is serious angry with him for going on air to spread the dirty linen in public," Complete Sports source said.

According to the source quoted in the report, Siasia is not the only coach owed.

Emmanuel Amuneke and Salisu Abubakar are also being owed by the NFF.
