Former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has revealed what he considers to be the peak of his career, admitting that the best version of himself came in Paris rather than the Catalan capital.
"My strongest period was at Paris Saint-Germain, right after I joined the club. I know people remember me for my performances at Barcelona, our legendary MSN trio with Messi and Suarez, and everything we won together. Even so, I believe the best version of Neymar was seen at PSG," the Brazilian said in an appearance on YouTuber Davo Xeneize's channel.
"In Paris, I managed to combine strength, speed, and football intelligence, and I also learned to read every single detail on the pitch. For me, that was the peak of my career," the forward added.
Neymar is currently playing for his boyhood club Santos, following a brief spell with Saudi side Al-Hilal.
