The German, currently managing Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, is expected to succeed Eddie Howe as the Magpies' manager, with Howe's departure anticipated imminently. While Newcastle has yet to officially announce Howe's exit, it is widely considered a done deal in England.

Jaissle, who led Al-Ahli to two AFC Champions League titles, is set to become Newcastle's new manager, signing a contract until 2030. Newcastle will reportedly pay an 11 million euro compensation fee to the Saudi club for the 38-year-old coach.

Eddie Howe's departure is expected to be formalized soon. It appears the initiative for his exit comes from his side, seemingly due to dissatisfaction with the sale of key players. Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon have already left Newcastle, and Bruno Guimarães is also a strong candidate to depart, with Arsenal reportedly interested.
