E-payments company obtains License from central bank

NetPlus, an e-payment platform that manages online payment platforms for merchants and online stores, is seeking to expand to the area of in-store payments through mobile Point Of Sale (POS) terminals.

The company was recently awarded a license by the Central Bank of Nigeria, to operate as a Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP). NetPlus says this license will give them the opportunity to launch and provide technical assistance and maintenance for Point Of Sale (POS) terminals.

The company recently announced the roll-out of NetPlus Pay. An e-payment solution developed to  that process online payments to merchant’s  bank accounts.

According to techcabal, NetPlus plans to roll-out a mobile Point Of Sale (POS) app, that will be  integrated with a payment module.
