It portrays very percussive production style featuring African samples, deep bass, and repetitive, minimalist arrangements laced with easy going but strong Hip hop-oriented Yoruba & pidgin lyrics.

Born Shobowale Omotolani Joshua, the name SLOPY is an acronym for ‘Shobowale's Lastborn Omotolani Pass You”. He is a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, with a strong interest in natural exibitionism via African rap.

His driving inspiration was received from his late mother, who endlessly sang to him during his childhood, thereby ingraining him with a strong sense of music. He also had influences from Jay Z, 50 Cent, and other rap stars. In 2011, after years of honing his skills, and composing Afro-themed rap songs, he kicked off his professional career. He is signed to Brytunes Entertainment.

Today he’s dropped the thrilling Sho Ma Take E, with a video directed by Legendary Filmworks.
