Wales defender has called Coleman to apologise after breaking his leg

Taylor’s sliding tackle in the 69th of the game broke Coleman’s leg in two places and the Everton defender is expected to miss at least six months.

According to reports, Taylor has called Coleman to apologise and express hi remorse over his tackle.

He couldn’t talk to Coleman who was already receiving treatments and Taylor spoke with Ireland’s assistant coach Roy Keane.

He and Wales captain Ashley Williams visited Coleman n in the hospital but could not see him.

The Wales defender then got Coleman’s number from his Everton teammate, Williams and called him to offer his apology.

Taylor is yet to say anything public about the incident but could face an extended ban after FIFA opened disciplinary actions him.

Coleman left hospital on Wednesday, March 29 after a successful operation to repair the broken tibia and fibula in his right leg.
