Neemias Queta returned to Portugal and, as always, made sure to train at his home base: the Futebol Clube Barreirense Gymnasium. This time, he brought along his head coach, Joe Mazzulla, the Boston Celtics' head coach, for a training session that truly honored us," read the Barreirense Facebook page.
The training session was attended by Jorge Bruno, Barreirense's technical coordinator, who had the opportunity to showcase the club's facilities and share the daily work being done.
"Hosting personalities of this caliber in our humble home is a source of immense pride and inspiration for everyone involved in Barreirense basketball. We thank Neemias for keeping this connection to his roots alive and for continuing to elevate the name of our club and our city," the statement added.
Prior to this, the duo was at the Luz stadium, attending the Benfica-FC Porto match, the first game of the Portuguese Basketball League final.
