Lokomotiv Avia's head volleyball coach, Nayden Naydenov, admitted his team has regrets after losing the decisive fifth semi-final playoff match against Neftochimic 2010 Burgas in the men's volleyball championship. This defeat means the "Black and Whites" missed their chance to contend for the title for a second consecutive season, settling for bronze medals this year.

"We definitely have regrets. For reasons I can't explain, we started the match quite unconvincingly, very nervous. We had opportunities to beat them twice before and we let them slip. Perhaps that stressed the team a bit. We've discussed this, but we didn't start in the best way, and it led to a 2-0 deficit. We managed to show we're a team. We found our rhythm, won the third set, but unfortunately, 2-3 minor errors in the fourth prevented us from taking the match to a tie-break, where anything could have happened," the Lokomotiv coach stated after the game.
"I want to congratulate all the fans and everyone who supports us. I believe we upheld the name of Lokomotiv. For the second year, we've secured medals, which is an achievement no one else has managed with a new team built last year. I am proud of them, and all the fans should be proud. We will continue to build and fight for the glory of this club," Nayden Naydenov added.
