Pharrell Williams to perform at ceremony

Pharrell Williams is set to perform at the 2015 MTV EMAs.

The awards, which will be held on Sunday, 25 October in Milan, will see the American singer, songwriter and producer take the stage at the Mediolanum Forum.

This performance will mark the ‘Happy’ crooner's third performance at the EMAs. He previously performed at the show with Nelly in 2004 and with Snoop Dogg in 2006. The fashion designer who’s been nominated for Best Male and Best Video has appeared as a presenter three times over the last few years.

British singer Ed Sheeran and Australian actress/model Ruby Rose will be hosting this year’s awards ceremony.

Nigeria’s Davido and Yemi Alade as well as, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, South African rapper AKA, Ivorian performer DJ Arafat, have all been nominated in the Best Africa Act category. Voting for all award categories is open on mtvema.com until 24 October.

This year’s awards will be broadcast live on Sunday 25 October at 8PM.
