Mourinho's Bernabéu Return: Real Madrid and Real Sociedad Lineups Revealed

Real Madrid hosts Real Sociedad in a La Liga Matchday 2 fixture. This marks José Mourinho's first game back at the Santiago Bernabéu. The 'Blancos' kicked off their season with a 2-1 victory over Espanyol, secured by a late goal from Carlos Espi. Meanwhile, the Basque side suffered a 0-1 defeat to Betis.

Mourinho has opted for the same starting XI he deployed in the opening round. Denzel Dumfries and Álvaro Carreras will operate as full-backs, with Ibrahima Konaté and Dean Huijsen anchoring the central defense. Trent Alexander-Arnold and summer signing Marc Cucurella are once again on the bench. Bernardo Silva and Federico Valverde will control the midfield, with Jude Bellingham playing further forward. Yann Diomande starts as a substitute again, while the attack features Mbappé, Vinicius, and Güler.
