José Mourinho, returning to the helm of Real Madrid, was finally officially presented by club president Florentino Pérez as the team's manager, though the ceremony was unusually understated.

Instead of the usual fanfare with a multitude of Spanish journalists, fans, and special guests, the signing ceremony for 'The Special One' and his photo opportunity with the white jersey took place behind closed doors. The only footage released was from the club's own television channel. A similar low-key presentation is expected for the six new signings over the next few days. Mourinho is scheduled to address local media on Friday during his pre-match press conference, ahead of Real Madrid's first game of the season.

The Portuguese specialist's presentation occurred in the boardroom at Valdebebas. Mourinho was accompanied by President Pérez, and the two signed a three-year contract. Following the signing, the coach received symbolic gifts, including a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, a watch, and a team jersey bearing his name. After posing for photos with Pérez and honorary president José Martínez 'Pirri', 'The Special One' gave a brief statement to the club's official channels.

“The first time I arrived in Madrid, it was a professional peak. Now it's the same, but there's also an emotional and personal aspect. That's why I think this period is even more special than the first. The important thing is to work for Real Madrid, and I want it to be that way for everyone at Valdebebas. What I can tell the fans is that I am one of you. It has always been that way since I left,” Mourinho stated.
