Following their 94-81 victory over Paris in Round 36 of the EuroLeague, Crvena Zvezda enters the penultimate round of Europe's elite competition in ninth place, holding a record of 20 wins and 16 losses.

This position currently places the Red Star in the play-in zone, but nothing is set in stone yet. Should they lose their remaining two games (and if other results involving Maccabi, Dubai, and Monaco align), Zvezda could miss out on the postseason entirely. Conversely, victories against ASVEL and Real Madrid could propel them into the playoffs.

To recap, Zvezda's remaining opponents are ASVEL (April 10) and Real Madrid (April 16). Both matches will be played away from home.

Looking at the rest of the standings, Olympiacos leads the pack with a 24-13 record. Valencia and Fenerbahçe are tied for second and third with 23-13, Hapoel sits fourth at 22-13, Real Madrid is fifth with 22-14, and Panathinaikos holds sixth place with 21-15.

Zalgiris is the first team in the play-in zone, with a 21-15 record. Monaco, after defeating ASVEL 81-76, has overtaken Crvena Zvezda and now sits eighth with 22-16. The final play-in spot, tenth position, is occupied by Barcelona, who have a 20-16 record.

Dubai is 11th with a 19-17 record, followed by Maccabi at 18-17. These two teams are currently Crvena Zvezda's most serious contenders for a play-in berth.

In the lower half of the table, in descending order, are Olimpia with 17-19, Bayern with 16-20. Partizan, who lost to Efes, is in 15th place with 15-21, followed by Paris with 14-22, Virtus with 13-23, Baskonia with 12-24, and Efes with 11-25.

ASVEL, Zvezda's next opponent, is at the bottom of the standings, with a mere eight wins and a staggering 28 losses.
