Mitrović Outduels Radonjić as CSKA Downs Zenit: Muscovites Reach Cup Final!

Following Unics Kazan's earlier victory over Parma Perm, securing their spot in the final, CSKA Moscow has now joined them.

In a thrilling derby held in St. Petersburg, the Muscovites defeated Zenit after a stellar second-half performance, earning their place in the championship match.

Zenit had held the lead after the first half, thanks to an impressive finish to the second quarter where they poured in 30 points. However, the tide turned completely in the second half.

CSKA played significantly better defense, disrupting Zenit's rhythm. The home team's last surge came at the start of the final quarter, narrowing the deficit to two points (66:64). Nevertheless, CSKA quickly extended their lead again in the subsequent minutes, and in the end, the clash between Luka Mitrović and Dejan Radonjić saw the CSKA center emerge victorious.

The grand final, scheduled for Sunday at 1 PM, will feature a showdown between CSKA and Unics.
