AC Milan has reportedly rejected a €10 million offer from Coventry for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to Tuttosport.
New Milan head coach Ruben Amorim is expected to rely on the English midfielder for the upcoming season. This is why the Rossoneri turned down the bid from the newly promoted Premier League side, managed by Frank Lampard. Lampard was keen to reunite with the 30-year-old, whom he coached during their time at Chelsea, but Amorim views Loftus-Cheek as a crucial component of his project at San Siro.
The midfielder is set to begin his fourth season with Milan, having joined the Rossoneri from Chelsea for €19 million in the summer of 2023. With less than a year remaining on his current contract with the Milanese giants, the club is reportedly planning to initiate renewal talks.
