In the midst of their stuttering start to the new season, Chelsea have received a huge boost with the news that Ramires has signed a new contract with the club.
The Brazil international joined Chelsea in 2010 from Benfica and has made 241 appearances for the London side.

Chelsea announced on the evening of Thursday, October 29 that the midfielder has signed a new contract committing himself to Stamford Bridge until June 2019.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea,” the 28-year-old told club official website.
“My family and I are very happy here in London and in the past five years the club has lifted every major trophy.
“I hope to be an important part of many more successes in the next four years.”
Ramires has won the FA Cup, English Premier League, League Cup and the UEFA Europa League with Chelsea.
