Automaker set to assemble mini-buses, ambulances in Nigeria

The Guardian reports that Mercedes Benz is ready to begin assembling mini-buses, and ambulances in Nigeria.

According to the Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz center, Benson Uwatse, the automaker is doing this in order to satisfy the automotive demands of the country.

Also because Mercedes Benz recognises the need for local production of ambulances in Nigeria.

“Everybody wants to make cars, whereas the real national need with regards to health is ambulance."
