Mateusz Gamrot is set to face one of the UFC's most promising contenders.
The organization announced on Thursday that Gamrot (26-4) will headline UFC Vegas 120 in a lightweight bout against Quillan Salkild (12-1). The event is scheduled for August 8th at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
Gamrot returned to winning ways this April, submitting Esteban Ribovics via rear-naked choke in the second round. In his last four outings, he has alternated wins and losses, securing victories over Ribovics and Ludovit Klein, but falling short against Charles Oliveira and Dan Hooker. His UFC record stands at 9 wins and 4 losses.
Salkild is currently on an impressive run, boasting five consecutive victories since joining the UFC in February 2025. The 26-year-old Australian has finished four of his five opponents in the promotion within the first round, with his most recent victim being long-time contender Beneil Dariush, whom he knocked out in May.
