Struggling French giants Marseille have demoted forward Keyliane Abdallah to their reserve squad, according to local newspaper La Provence. The French side are set to face Levski Sofia in the Europa League at the Stade Vélodrome on November 26.
According to reports, manager Bruno Génésio was left deeply disappointed with the player's performances in the 1-0 Europa League defeat to Sturm Graz and the 4-3 Ligue 1 victory against Le Havre. The disciplinary measure was also influenced by Abdallah's off-the-pitch conduct. Marseille recently relegated Senegalese forward Faris Moumbagna to the second team following an underwhelming display against Olympiacos. Malian youngster Nouhoum Kamissoko is also under scrutiny, with Génésio pointing out that the squad's young players lack humility.
