For a while, conversation in the online space has occasionally steered towards gender roles in marriages.

There are constant arguments about what the role of the man is, and what women are supposed to be in the marriage.

The traditional belief, long held in our society is that the woman has the primary responsibility to make meals, take care of the kids, stay in charge of house chores and all that.

But now, as times change and values shift, questions are being asked – what should the genders’ roles be in a marriage? Is the established order a sustainable one in the modern marriage, or is there need for a change in what we have for a long time believed to be the way to do things?
