According to the Italian, his significant breakthrough came during the 10-minute warm-up session on Sunday morning. After that, he felt much more comfortable on his machine and subsequently finished third behind Pedro Acosta and his teammate Jorge Martin in the Spielberg race.
"It wasn't an easy weekend. We didn't start particularly well on Friday and struggled to find our rhythm. Fortunately, this morning (in the warm-up), I significantly improved my riding. Last night, I studied a lot to try and get better. I had a great start, but when Jorge passed me, I began to experience issues with the front end, and Pedro also caught and overtook me. Initially, I struggled, but as the laps progressed, I started to feel better, and by the end, I wasn't doing too badly. So, I'm grateful to everyone on the team; they were fantastic, and now we're heading into the Asian leg," Bezzecchi commented after the race at the Red Bull Ring.
