Marc Marquez's World Cup Predictions Prove Spot-On, So Far

MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has proven to be remarkably accurate in his predictions for the FIFA World Cup knockout stages, at least so far.

Ahead of last weekend's German Grand Prix, the Ducati rider and other competitors at the official Sachsenring press conference were asked to forecast the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and both finals. Marquez's predictions have been spot-on, and it remains to be seen if the final part of his forecast—Spain lifting the World Cup for the second time in their history—will also come true.

The final between 'La Furia Roja' and Argentina is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th, at 10:00 PM Bulgarian time in New York. The previous evening, at 12:00 AM, France will face England in the third-place playoff in Miami.
