Manchester City star gets Super Eagles call-up

Manchester City youngstar, Kelechi Iheanacho has gotten a Super Eagles' call-up.

The 19-year-old was a late addition to Sunday Oliseh’s list of players for next month’s 2018 World Cup double header against Swaziland.

“Coach Sunday Oliseh invites Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho,” the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) tweeted through its official Twitter account.

"I initially called up 23 players but I am adding Kelechi Iheanacho to the list immediately," Oliseh told the Nigerian Football Federation's website.

"I have been following Kelechi's progress at City."

Iheanacho was first called up to the Super Eagles by StephenKeshi before the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) but the player opted out in order to join up with City at that time.
