Manchester City Overhauls Midfield as Reijnders Departs Premier League Side

English football club Manchester City has reportedly agreed to a transfer fee for 28-year-old midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, according to BBC Sport. The Dutch international is set to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah for just over 60 million euros.

Reijnders joined the Citizens just a year ago from AC Milan for nearly 55 million euros. In 47 competitive matches, he scored seven goals. The Dutchman had been training separately from the main Manchester City squad in recent hours.

Last season's Premier League runner-up is significantly overhauling its midfield. Besides Reijnders, Spanish international Rodri is also reportedly on his way out, with Barcelona showing keen interest in his services. Conversely, Argentine Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea is expected to join the squad, according to media reports.
