Manchester City is reportedly pursuing Palmeiras winger Alan Elias. According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the 22-year-old Brazilian is among the players identified as a potential replacement for Savinho, who is on the verge of a move to Tottenham. Palmeiras' stance is that Elias will not be sold this summer. His contract includes a release clause, but it is set at a substantial €100 million, making it unlikely City would activate it.
Fabrizio Romano also confirmed City's interest, revealing that the two clubs are currently negotiating the player's transfer fee.
Alan is a product of the Palmeiras academy, breaking into the first team in 2025. Since then, he has made 48 appearances in the local league, scoring six goals and providing five assists. He has yet to receive a call-up to the Brazilian national team.
Yesterday, it emerged that Tottenham is in advanced talks with Manchester City for Savinho and Marmoush. According to Matt Law of The Telegraph, the combined deal could be worth up to £140 million.
