Since 2014, the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix has been held under the artificial lights of the Sakhir circuit, but this season will see a change to that tradition.

As widely known, due to ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East, this year's Bahrain Grand Prix will take place in Malaysia from October 2nd to 4th. For Sepang, this marks a return to the Formula 1 calendar after a nine-year absence, during which artificial lighting was installed at the track.

However, this lighting is deemed too dim and does not meet Formula 1 standards. Consequently, the race near Kuala Lumpur cannot be held under evening conditions and will revert to its traditional afternoon slot. The exact weekend schedule has yet to be confirmed by Formula 1, but given the time difference, sessions will be held in the morning hours for Bulgarian viewers.
