Lyon Snaps Up "Spider-Man" from AC Milan

Lyon has officially announced their seventh summer signing: wing-back Zachary Attekame, who joins on a season-long loan from AC Milan. The deal between the two clubs does not include an option to buy the player.

Interestingly, the Swiss international was unveiled by Lyon with a video featuring him as the comic book superhero Spider-Man, altering the title of his latest film to “Attekame: A Brand New Player.” The 21-year-old talent was acquired by AC Milan last summer, with Young Boys receiving €10 million for his transfer. In his debut campaign for the Rossoneri, he made 29 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists, but did not feature in new coach Ruben Amorim's plans for the upcoming season.
