Barcelona, however, sees Shaw as a potential competitor with their current undisputed left-back Jordi Alba.

According to a report by the , Barcelona are willing to bring the English man to Camp Nou if surplus to requirements at United.

The report states that United are unwilling to let Shaw go because of his young age, and will favour a loan move.

Shaw, however, is keen to quit Old Trafford as his move from Southampton has not turned out as expected.

Since Shaw’s arrival at United, he has struggled for fitness with reoccurring injuries.

This season, however, Shaw has been fit on several occasions but has struggled to displace a much older Ashley Young who holds the starting position.

Shaw has been on the receiving end of Jose Mourinho’s fury for not performing as expected and the report states that shaw is willing to change his environment to get back into contention for a call-up to the England team.

Barcelona are interested in signing Shaw due to his young age and see him a good back up for Alba since French man Lucas Digne has been unable to fill in his absence.
