Luka Mitrović finds a new club!

Our team has signed Luka Mitrović, who spent last season with CSKA Moscow. Born on March 21, 1993, in Novi Sad, Mitrović began his professional career with Serbian side Hemofarm. After joining Crvena Zvezda in 2012, Mitrović caught the basketball world's attention with his performances in both the ABA League and the EuroLeague. Serving as team captain in the 2014–15 season, Mitrović averaged 8.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 24 EuroLeague games and was named Serbian Cup MVP. That same season, he helped guide his team to a domestic treble—winning the Serbian League, ABA League, and Serbian Cup. Standing at 206 cm, the power forward won three Serbian League titles, three ABA League championships, and four Serbian Cups during his initial five-year stint with Crvena Zvezda. After leaving Belgrade in 2017, the Serbian big man moved to Brose Bamberg, later spending the 2019–20 season in Spain with UCAM Murcia and Manresa. In the 2020–21 campaign, he won the Montenegrin League and Cup with KK Budućnost. He returned to Crvena Zvezda in the summer of 2021 for another highly successful spell. Over four additional seasons with Zvezda, Mitrović lifted the Serbian League and ABA League trophies twice more each, along with four additional Serbian Cups. In the 2025–26 season with CSKA Moscow, he played 40 VTB League games, averaging 5.7 points and 4.9 rebounds. The 33-year-old power forward, who has represented Serbia since youth level, will bring his experience and interior presence to Bahçeşehir Koleji for the 2026–27 season. – Bahçeşehir Basketball Club
