I'm not that old; I still have several years of my NBA career ahead of me, and I'm not thinking about retirement. However, maybe one day I'll come to Crvena Zvezda.Luka Dončić

Discussing the difference between basketball culture in the Balkans and the rest of the world, the Slovenian basketball star emphasized that players from this region primarily rely on their intelligence on the court, singling out Nikola Jokić as the prime example of this approach.

I believe we play differently and think more during the game. Most is learned through pickup games, in one-on-one, two-on-two, or three-on-three situations, which is then applied in a five-on-five system. Nikola Jokić and I are more team-oriented players, unlike most in the NBA who predominantly rely on dribbling and shooting.Luka Dončić

He added that he fell in love with basketball in early childhood and still fondly remembers the games he played with peers after school. Although he didn't have role models outside of sports, he revealed that his favorite basketball player growing up was Greek guard Vassilis Spanoulis.

During this promotional tour, Dončić visited Madrid, Ljubljana, and Belgrade, where he observed youth training sessions. He highlighted the immense satisfaction he feels when he sees children wearing jerseys and sneakers with his name on them.

With young players, the first thing I notice is their level of competitiveness on the court. Training is extremely important and requires a lot of hard work, but above all, it's crucial to enjoy the game itself.Luka Dončić
