Dončić hit the milestone in just 95 games, becoming the fastest player in Lakers history to reach the tally.

In doing so, the Slovenian playmaker broke the franchise record previously held by the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who needed 109 games across the 1975–76 and 1976–77 seasons to score his first 3,000 points for the club.

The Lakers topped the Jazz 132–123, powered by Dončić's monster stat line of 52 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds.
