Rap Legend Says He Did Not Leave The Industry Because Of Olamide

The progenitor of Yoruba rap says he wants his recognition and respect.

Creator of the Yoruba rap sub-genre Lord of Ajasa has said that his hiatus from the music industry was not as a result of Olamide taking over the rap scene.

In an interview with Nigezie, Lord of Ajasa stated that him taking a break from the rap scene wasn't because his protege Olamide had flooded the market with his style of music. "I did not leave industry for anybody. I cannot, its not possible. Olamide is my son. He himself he knows" said the veteran.

Lord of Ajasa disclosed that he left the music scene because he wanted to concentrate on other sources of income to support his family. He went on to also say that he produced Olamide's first song. You can watch the entire video below;
