Mayor releases building plan procedure

In other to meet his goal of building 49,000 houses annually in London, and meet up with the teeming housing demand, a new planning guidance.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson has invited stakeholders to make inputs to the planning guidance.

Speaking on the latest development, London's Deputy Mayor for Planning, Sir Edward Lister, said “The new Supplementary Planning Guidance will be vital in helping developers and boroughs understand how to achieve the Mayor's ambitious aims for housing in London.”

Adding that ‘Delivering the homes that London needs requires us to work together, so I would encourage anyone with an interest to let us know what they think.’

The planning guidance is open for input until August 7th, 2015.
