Liverpool vs Brighton Starting Lineups

Liverpool host Brighton in a Premier League Matchday 8 clash. The Merseysiders have experienced some inconsistency, but have still won five of their last six matches across all competitions. Fabian Hürzeler's side, meanwhile, have been in scintillating form since the start of the season. The Seagulls were on a six-match winning streak before their midweek draw against Jablonec in the Conference League, and they hold a four-point advantage over today's opponents.

Andoni Iraola has named Rio Ngumoha on the bench, despite his strong showing last time out against Villarreal in the Champions League. The manager has made two changes from the side that faced Brentford a week ago: Cody Gakpo comes in for Victor Muñoz, who drops out of the matchday squad, while Ryan Gravenberch replaces the injured Dominik Szoboszlai.
