Lionel Scaloni: I'm Speechless, We'll Try to Win the Final

Argentina's head coach, Lionel Scaloni, couldn't hide his emotions immediately after the dramatic 2-1 triumph over England, which sent his team to the World Cup final. The "Gauchos'" manager dedicated the historic victory to the Argentine people and stated that his team would do everything possible to win the final and lift the World Cup trophy once again.

"I'm speechless. This is immense joy for our country, for our people. We will try to win the final as well; we will leave everything on the pitch, but it's very difficult for outsiders to understand the effort these boys put in," the emotional specialist shared.

He also thanked the thousands of fans in the stands who created an incredible atmosphere: "It was these people in the stadium who led us to victory today."

At the end of his statement, Scaloni reiterated why Argentina continues to be at the pinnacle of world football and what the national jersey means to the players.

"This jersey demands exactly this kind of effort. You have to give absolutely everything you have on the field," the coach concluded.
