)
Dejan Kamenjašević, the general director of the UAE-based club, confirmed the information, expressing his satisfaction with Vulikić's move to Dubai. Željko Obradović played a significant role in this "transfer," offering high praise for Vulikić when consulted by Dubai.
We brought Luka in as a 'free agent.' He was free to choose his next destination. We heard many good things about him and decided to further strengthen the team with new talent.Dejan Kamenjašević
Vulikić's contract with Partizan expired this summer, and he will assume his new role on September 1st. He spent three seasons with Partizan, initially as a team manager under Željko Obradović, and then as deputy sports director to Žarko Paspalj. One of his notable contributions was his involvement in the negotiations that led to Carlik Jones remaining in Humska.
In Dubai, he will take on the position of head of the analytical department. The UAE club has already signed several high-profile reinforcements, clearly signaling that their ABA League triumph last season was no fluke, and they intend to challenge for the EuroLeague this year.
