Onochie, on her Twitter timeline, said “Those asking for the extradition of Diezani are very ignorant and did not do their homework at all. That's "mumu-ness" in itself.”

The 'Our Mumu Don Do' group, on Monday August 28, 2017, launched a two-day sit-out protest at the Abuja office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to demand Alison-Madueke’s extradition.

The EFCC, in a statement, said that it does not have the authority to extradite Diezani Allison-Madueke to face trial for corruption allegations against her.
