Laporta: Time is Crucial in Álvarez Negotiations

Barcelona President Joan Laporta has addressed the potential transfer of Atletico Madrid forward Julián Álvarez.

"We've made a significant offer. If they're willing to accept it, that's great, but time is of the essence. Whether we maintain the offer or not depends on how things unfold in the last two weeks of July. The player has spoken, so the question remains open. He wants a change of scenery. We are willing to accommodate. We'll see how things develop," Laporta told El Larguero.

Previously, the Spanish champions stated they would not offer more than 100 million euros for the rights to the Argentina international.
