Lando Norris's victory at last week's Hungarian Grand Prix marked a significant milestone for the McLaren-Mercedes partnership, which began in 1995.

The first McLaren-Mercedes success came exactly two years later, with David Coulthard triumphing at the 1997 Australian Grand Prix, the season opener. Now, more than 29 years on, and despite a six-year hiatus in their collaboration, Norris has delivered the 100th victory for McLaren-Mercedes.

Interestingly, this is the third time McLaren-Mercedes has secured a landmark victory in Hungary. In 2000, Mika Häkkinen clinched the 25th win for the partnership at the Hungaroring, and in 2007, Lewis Hamilton celebrated their 50th triumph at the same circuit.
