Italian automaker breaks old sales record in 2015
In 2015, Lamborghini recorded a 28% increase in sales by selling 3,245 supercars worldwide.
This is an impressive sales record when compared to the 2,530 sales made in 2014.
According to Motorauthority, this increase can be attributed to the Huracán, which was sold 2,242 times.
Lamborghini CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, revealed that there were more sales in all regions.
He predicted a successful 2016 due to many requests for new models like the Huracán LP 580-2 and Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder.
The Spyder was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show on the 15th of September.
Features include an automated roof, a 5.2-liter V-10 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, four wheel drive, 601 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque.
