France defender Jules Kounde addressed the media ahead of their World Cup semi-final clash against Spain.

"July 14th is France's national holiday, but also a day of mourning for the victims of the Nice attack. We want to make the French people proud. The stakes are incredibly high, and our motivation is at its peak because this is a World Cup semi-final," said the Barcelona footballer.

"Spain's strength has always been in their collective play, in their ball possession. It's in their team's DNA to wear down opponents with constant movement from right to left and back again. France's game is more based on transitions. We will try to outplay them," Kounde added.

The match in Dallas is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 PM local time.
