The Daily Post News reported that the victims were abducted at Railway Village in Owa Oyibo, Agbor of the state.

An intense gun battle occurred between the abductors and the security detail of the expatriate before he was taken.

Celestina Kalu, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer gave a confirmation of the incident, stating that the area is being combed to recover the abducted men.
