Houston Rockets superstar Kevin Durant has weighed in on the Philadelphia 76ers' prospects with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, labeling them as a formidable title contender.

"That's going to be a devastating force. That's what I think," Durant stated.

"What LeBron does usually works. He understands how to build a winning basketball team. He's been in the league for 24 years. He should know how to do it.

He also knows how to set himself up for success. It seems to me that his willingness to play for a minimum contract speaks volumes about his mindset and how he'll fit into the team.

The Sixers needed exactly that kind of cohesion. Someone who understands and can explain to the others that not everyone on the team will average 25 points. But there will be nights when you are the main guy. And there will be nights when you have to be the number two, but throughout the season, the roles will shift. Everyone's role will change.

LeBron understands all of this. He's been in the league for a very long time. And alongside him are all these guys who aren't youngsters either. They are over 25 years old. They've been in the league for six or seven years. They've played in Game 7s of the playoffs.

"So, yes, that's what I can say about this team. There's enough intelligence there to make it all work," Durant concluded.
