Since the arrival of Jesus, he has played in only five league games which came after the Brazilian striker got injured.
Despite the huge competition from the two stars, Iheanacho said he is not worried about them.
“I don’t have to worry about that. All I need to worry about is keep working, keep doing well and keep improving every day, that’s all I need to do,” the 20-year-old striker said in an interview on .
“Sergio and Gabriel are really really great players that we need in our team and I’m happy playing alongside with them.”
Iheanacho ‘s future at Manchester City seems to be unclear with Guardiola’s reluctance to play him sparking reports of a move away from the club.
The striker, however, is not thinking about leaving Manchester City and wants to ignore the reports.
“This is football and of course they are going to say so many things because they don’t know what’s going on in our team and everything,” Iheanacho also said.
“Of course they are going to bring their opinion and say all sort of things but we don’t have to look at that.
"I have to keep working hard and keep doing our thing.”
With Jesus back from injury, Iheanacho was left of the squad that played a goalless draw with Manchester United on Thursday, April 27.
