Nigerian Author Kate Ekanem, was recently a guest at Pulse TV Nigeria where she spoke extensively on kicking off her writing career.

Ekanem is a girl child activist, founder of 'The Kate Tales Foundation', and writer who started writing at the age of five.
The writer also spoke on how she kicked off her foundation which is aimed at reaching out to girls in Africa.
According to Ekanem, fame matters a lot, but passion should be the driving force for every writer.
