English footballer Joss Labadie has been hit with a six-month ban for biting an opponent.
The 24-year-old was last month charged with violent conduct by the FA after he was accused of sinking his teeth into the hand of Stevenage defender Ronnie Henry during Dagenham's 1-0 win at the Lamex Stadium.
The biting incident occurred when Labadie challenged Henry late on in the game and then failed to release the ball after it had gone out for a throw in.
It came just 12 months after he was banned for 10 matches and fined £2,000 for biting Chesterfield's Ollie Banks while playing for Torquay.
Though he denied the charge of violent conduct, Joss Labadie was was found guilty and suspended for six months by the English FA.
The suspension takes immediate effect.
After starting his career at West Brom, Joss Labadie has played for Tranmere, Notts County and Torquay.
Joss Labadie has developed quite a bad reputation rivaled only by former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
The Barcelona striker has been banned for biting on three occasions, with each one attracting a more serious ban.
