Singer channels narrative spirit in ‘To li’

Ghanaian afro-soul and jazz singer Jojo Abot returns with her peculiar ethnic style in the visuals for her song ‘To li’

The new video shot in New York and was directed by the crooner and Robert Kolodny. It features the singer dancing and singing against the backdrop of a graffiti covered Brooklyn rooftop.

“’To li’ is a term used to call out a questionable narrative or put a narrator on the spot. It's a dramatic term that cuts through the bullshit and calls it for what it is,” Abot shared with Pulse Nigeria via email.

The song is off her debut EP “FYFYA WOTO”. The music video is the final video release from her EP.
