The black-and-whites simply could not stop the Green machine. The defensive caliber and squad at coach Obradović's disposal were incredible, with the players putting on a dominant display. Defense proved to be the decisive factor, but Partizan cannot afford to dwell on the result for long, as another powerhouse awaits in Fenerbahçe. Black-and-white head coach Joan Peñarroya addressed the media following the clash.

"It was clear that Panathinaikos deserved the win. I'm pleased that the team fought for all 40 minutes. We made some mistakes, but we also played solid defense. We missed a lot of shots and suffered from poor shooting percentages. When you can't buy a basket, it's tough to stay competitive, and that was the case tonight. The team needs to keep fighting." – Joan Peñarroya

Partizan face Fenerbahçe in the next round and currently hold a 3-2 record on the season.
