On Thursday (April 16), the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion shared the first photos of his newborn daughter, Eleonora, accompanied by emotional words about this significant event in his life. The joyous news comes less than a week after his knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg in a title fight last Saturday at UFC 327.
On social media platform X, Procházka wrote:
GOD BLESS 🙏 PURE, PURE POWER of love for newborn Eleonora, the firstborn daughter, and her mother, who today showed immense strength I didn't know she possessed. 🙏 Second: By the end of this week, I will comment on the nonsense I see here on social media about my last fight, the other hyenas around, and the next step. The main point in fighting, and in life, is to stay true to what you believe in and be ready to FIGHT FOR IT and SACRIFICE EVERYTHING NECESSARY. THIS WAS CERTAINLY MY TITLE FIGHT IN LIFE, AND I FEEL LIKE A CHAMPION 🙏⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
In the lead-up to UFC 327, Procházka was candid about the motivation he felt as he and his girlfriend awaited their first child. "A lot. Really a lot," Procházka said in an interview with MMA Junkie before the fight. "Maybe I don't realize it yet, but I feel the power. I really feel something that is beyond, behind feelings, behind emotions. There is something that is stronger than anything I have ever encountered. I can say it, and that's not the reason. This is something that was here, and every time my girlfriend and I talk every day, we do special breathing exercises together to stay connected, so every time I see her belly, I just... I can't explain it. I can't explain it right now, but yes."
Although Procházka failed to reclaim the light heavyweight title in his third attempt at UFC 327, he clearly has a firm grasp on what truly matters in his life right now – being a father.
