7 things you need to know about late Minister
The death of the Minister of State for Labour,
1. He became Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Chairman, Disciplinary Committee of the Abuja chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association in 2007.
2. In 2011, he was governorship aspirant in Kogi State on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change.
3. Between 2013 and 2014, he was deputy national legal adviser of the All Progressive Congress.
4. In 2015, he sought the Kogi State APC gubernatorial ticket at the party’s primary election, losing to the late Abubakar Audu.
5. In the last quarter of 2015, he was appointed Minister of State for Labour.
6. Late Ocholi attended Ochaja Secondary School, and the University of Jos, where he studied Law.
7. He graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 1986 and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar the same year.
