It was a night of pure magic at Spice Route, Victoria Island, the home of the weekly Industry Nite. The headlining act was the Hip-Hop alternative artiste by the name of Black Magic.
The night started in the usual form with upcoming acts showcasing what they have. The event was hosted by BEAT FM OAP Jimmie. In the music department they was a slight change in personnel as DJ Lambo held down the fort for the regular Industry Nite disc jockey DJ Spinall who was not in the country.
After the aspiring stars did their rounds, which included a lively rap battle, the man of the hour Black Magic stepped on stage to do his thing.
Black Magic started with his latest video 'Golden Girl', before bringing on his producer Remi to perform the track 'Open Your Heart'.
Feeling magnanimous he invited Syndik8 Records artistes, his former record label mates Blink, and Nedu to perform their respective collabos 'Feeling This', and 'Thrilla'
After their performances, top Nigerian rapper Vector came on to deliver an acapella performance of 'Africa' remix with Black Magic. The guest appearances did not stop as producer Ikon and Black Magic performed their 2012 hit track 'Bad Star' much to the adoration of the crowd.
Almost at the end of his set Black Magic performed his hit single 'Repete' before ending it his performance with 'Pass You By'.
